Mortimer Forest folds gently around the town, rich with fossil seams and bringing with it hundreds of miles of outstanding walks. The Clee Hills stand behind Ludlow and the Stretton Hills (Little Switzerland) are within 10 miles. One will find all the activities one would expect ….walking, cycling, fishing, horse riding, adventure activities, hang gliding… and for the less adventurous there still always eating, drinking and shopping!!!
